📝 Description

The WTC Tournament Ready Ruins are designed to be positioned precisely on a standard 12 x 6 inch WTC tournament footprint with a 22mm gap at each wall. The actual size of each of the Ruins are 9″ x 5″ (excluding protuberances). The Medium Ruins are 5″ tall. The Large Ruins are 9.5″ tall. Each storey is at the regulation 3″ pitch. Each Armoured Shipping Container is 2.5″ x 2.5″ x 5″.

Every WTC layout has a different arrangement and quantity of Ruins. In order to be able to setup for every type of layout, you will need the Full Tournament Set, rather than the Starter Kit, as this contains additional Ruins which will permit all possible WTC Layouts. The Starter Kit contains enough Ruins to set up some of the layouts. This Expansion Kit bridges the gap and makes the Starter Set into the Full Tournament Set. Every one of the Ruins supplied is different, and the modularity of them allows more different designs to be created. However, the designs supplied are all created to suit the strict WTC rules, and to permit the WTC-designed firing lanes and fair play, which is required to replicate exact competitive tournament maps at home or at the club. With Ruins weighing in at up to 600g, and incorporating integral floors on the base as well as the upper storeys, this set is incredibly robust and Ruins sit sturdily on the table.

🔍 Hobbyist Notes and Transparency

Transparency is our core value. Many wargaming terrain sellers use digital computer renders to hide the reality of their 3D prints. We are different. Our main photos are of the actual, raw, PLA kit you will receive.

• Finish Details: Unpainted or Zenithal-primed items arrive ready for priming/painting to your custom design. Pro-Painted models are painted to a precise studio specification (please note there may be minor variations due to the hand-painted nature of the process). Pro-Painted items arrive fully finished and ready to play with just a small amount of assembly.
• Assembly: While no glue is necessary, you may like to permanently fix the main structure pieces together using superglue (cyanoacrylate) or epoxy resin. (Note: Standard plastic cement/poly cement will not bond with PLA or resin).
• Print Quality: Printing is carried out on our commercial-grade, top-of-the-range printers using premium PLA+ plastic. We strictly inspect all components for flaws, but on occasion, minor cleaning up with a sharp hobby blade may be required prior to assembly.
• Filament Batches: Although we take steps to prevent it, slight color variations in the raw grey plastic may occur between filament batches. This does not affect the structural quality of the model, and priming or painting will completely conceal any variation.
• Note: Character models shown in images are for scale reference only and are not included in the set.
