What condition will my models arrive in?
All models are supplied unprimed, unpainted, and with supports removed. They are fully post-cured, structurally sound, and ready for assembly. As with all high-grade 3D resin prints, minor surface characteristics inherent to the manufacturing process are normal and easily handled during standard model preparation.
Why are there color swirls or diagonal streaks on the raw resin?
During long production runs on heavy vehicle plates, resin pigments continuously flow across flat geometry inside the vat. This creates harmless optical color variations (marbling) on uncured resin surfaces.
- Is it a defect? No. The resin is 100% cured, structurally solid, and fully detailed.
- How to fix: A single coat of model primer completely neutralizes surface discoloration, leaving a uniform finish ready for paint.
Are minor surface scratches or chalky marks normal?
Yes. Raw cured resin can show micro-scuffs from post-processing handling or minor light reflections from high-purity IPA washing.
- Is it a defect? No. These are cosmetic surface optical scuffs that do not affect the surface texture or paint adhesion.
- How to fix: Applying standard hobby primer fills and conceals all surface micro-scuffs automatically.
What if I find small raised dots or tiny nicks on flat panels?
To ensure structural integrity during printing, support structures anchor to the model. While we use warm-water support removal to minimize contact marks, small micro-touchpoints can occasionally leave a tiny raised pimple or faint dimple.
- Is it a defect? No. This is standard for 3D-printed garage kits.
- How to fix: Gently shave raised dots flush using a hobby scalpel blade, or give the area a light pass with a high-grit sanding block (400-600 grit) before priming.
What if there are small support structures left in hard-to-reach areas?
To protect delicate details, recessed cavities, and internal panel tracks during transit, we occasionally leave secondary support sprues attached to internal or non-visible areas.
How to fix: Simply clip them off using standard flush cutters, or dip the part in hot tap water for 60 seconds to soften the plastic and peel them away effortlessly.
Is it a defect? No. Leaving supports in deep recessed areas or underside cavities helps prevent fine detail from snapping in shipping.
What counts as a replacement-eligible defect?
We stand by our print quality. We will immediately reprint and replace any component affected by structural manufacturing failures:
- Warping or Fitment Gaps: Severe hull distortion that prevents main components from aligning correctly.
- Missing Geometry: Failed layers, missing detail sections, or delamination (peeling layers).
- Trapped Liquid Resin: Any active resin leaks or un-cured liquid pockets inside hollowed parts.
How do we handle items damaged during shipping?
We package every print with heavy protective padding to withstand rough transit, but if courier handling damages your order, we will fix it immediately.
- Is it covered? Yes. Any model that arrives snapped, broken, or crushed during transit is eligible for a full reprint and replacement free of charge.
- What to do: Contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of both the broken parts and the damaged shipping box.
- How we fix it: We will reprint the damaged components—or the entire model if necessary—and ship out replacement parts as quickly as possible.
What if my order is missing a component or accessory?
We hand-pack every order using strict kit checklists, but if an item or variant piece was left out, we will get you sorted immediately.
- Is it covered? Yes. Any missing hull piece, turret variant, weapon option, or accessory track component will be supplied free of charge.
- What to do: Drop us a quick message within 7 days of receiving your package with your order number and the name of the missing piece (e.g., “Left sponson gun” or “Grav-drive engine plate”), or a photo of which components you did receive so we can work out the missing piece.
- How we fix it: We will jump on the printer, produce the missing component, and ship it directly to you via expedited dispatch with tracking.
